The wanted suspects all reside in Dak Lak province, including: Y Ju Nie (born in 1968, Kang hamlet, Ea Knuec commune, Krong Pac district); Y Khing Lieng (born in 1992, Ja hamlet, Hoa Son commune, Krong Bong district); Nay Tam (born in 1974, Adrong Diet hamlet, Cu Pong commune), Nay Yen (born in 1970, Ea Klok hamlet, Cu Pong commune) and Nay Duong (born in 1968, Ea Klok hamlet, Cu Pong commune), all in Krong Buk district.
Previously, the above subjects were prosecuted by the Investigation Security Agency, Dak Lak Provincial Police for the crime of "Terrorism against the people's government" under Article 113 of the 2015 Penal Code. The defendants have been on the run since June 11, 2023.
According to the wanted decisions, any person has the right to arrest and immediately deliver the wanted person to the nearest police agency, the Procuracy or the People's Committee. Regarding the incident, in the early morning of June 11, a group of people attacked the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune and Ea Ktur commune (including the working area of the commune police) in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province, killing 9 people and injuring 2 others.
The Ministry of Public Security assessed that this was a terrorist attack against the people's government with extremely serious consequences. The acts of the subjects were very barbaric and inhumane, demonstrating their determination to carry out the crime to the end. The police force has documents and evidence proving that the case was also supported and directed by a number of organizations and individuals abroad, even sending subjects from abroad to illegally enter Vietnam to stage and direct terrorist attacks.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify to strictly handle in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law.
