Dragon Eye Island has an area of about 30 hectares located in the sea area of Ha Long Bay adjacent to Lan Ha Bay. The highlight is the natural emerald green lake in the middle containing many corals and surrounded by limestone mountains.

Mr. Hai An shared that, as an explorer, he had heard of this island nestled among thousands of islands in Ha Long Bay, but only thought it was a beautiful legend. However, this trip to Quang Ninh gave him the opportunity not only to admire but also to take photos with a flycam, seeing the entire mysterious shape of the island like a dragon's eye.

The clear blue lake in the middle of the island is the image of the “dragon’s eye”. Because it is located in the middle of a calm bay, this area can be visited at any time of the year, however, summer (April-June) is still the best time to visit Ha Long Bay and Dragon Eye Island. Ha Long’s weather at this time is relatively mild, the trees are green. Towards the end of the year, the weather gets colder and it is easy to encounter heavy rain and storms.

As a photographer and a first-generation backpacker, Hai An, nicknamed Quy Coc Tu, has been to many places, seeing strange beauty both domestically and internationally. But perhaps only when looking down from above at the dragon's eyes does he feel that nature has a soul.

One of the moments that made Hai An absent-minded was when the clouds drifted by, the dragon's eyes appeared and disappeared, blurred as if blinking, the beauty felt almost surreal.
