As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes, 19 second prizes, 42 third prizes and 94 consolation prizes to teachers participating in the contest.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training awarded first prizes to outstanding teachers.

Previously, the contest took place from November 5 with 170 teachers from 57 schools participating in the contest, with 7 contest locations at high schools: Ham Yen, Thai Hoa, Y La, Tan Trao, Nguyen Van Huyen, Tuyen Quang Specialized High School and the Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities. The contest content, each teacher taught 1 lesson according to the 2018 General Education Program. Teachers taught and used teaching equipment for 1 lesson according to the teaching plan at the time of the contest. Teaching equipment includes: Minimum teaching equipment for high school level according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; shared teaching equipment; experimental and practice equipment; software, digital platforms, virtual experiments; smart devices; homemade teaching tools and equipment.

The competition was organized to create opportunities for teachers to exchange and share teaching experiences; promote the movement of using and improving the effectiveness of teaching equipment, contributing to innovating teaching methods and improving the quality of implementing the 2018 General Education Program; promptly discovering advanced examples and innovative models in teaching to replicate and improve teaching effectiveness for high school level.
