On the morning of November 9, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Pho Bang Border Guard Station. Accompanying her were Comrade Van Dinh Thao, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks and Economic Zones Management Board; and leaders of several provincial departments and branches.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung spoke with officers and soldiers of Pho Bang Border Guard Station.

Pho Bang Border Guard Station is located in Pho Bang commune, managing and protecting a border section of more than 14 km long, with 26 landmarks (20 main landmarks, 6 sub-markers); the area has 37 villages, of which 8 are border villages, with more than 2,900 households and over 15,000 people of 17 ethnic groups living together, of which the Mong ethnic group accounts for about 90%. Over the past time, the unit has always maintained territorial sovereignty and national border security, closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to effectively carry out border foreign affairs, and maintain stable security and order in the border area.

The station actively implemented many practical models and movements such as "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" to support 23 students, raise 2 adopted children of the station, help people eliminate temporary houses, renovate mixed gardens, develop the economy , contribute to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and strengthen the people's hearts and minds at the border of the Fatherland.

Speaking to the officers and soldiers of Pho Bang Border Guard Station, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung expressed her joy and gratitude for the sacrifices and efforts of the officers and soldiers of Pho Bang Border Guard Station in performing the task of protecting the border and keeping peace for the people. She emphasized that in the new context, the border guard force needs to clearly identify factors affecting border security, maintain political will, carry out well the work of mass mobilization and people's diplomacy, help people eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and eliminate backward customs with specific and effective methods, suitable to the local reality.

Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and talked with the adopted son of Pho Bang Border Guard Station.

On this occasion, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung presented gifts to officers, soldiers and adopted children of the Station, encouraging the unit to continue promoting the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers and excellently completing assigned tasks.
