The 2026 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup kicks off in Singapore today (April 1st). This year, the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup features a total of 43 participating teams. The qualifying draw will take place over two days, April 1st and 2nd, before the main group stage. The group stage consists of 12 men's and 12 women's teams, competing over the following three days.
With its streamlined format and no room for error, every match is crucial as teams compete for the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup title, especially on the path to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2027.

According to the announcement, Vietnamese basketball teams will compete in both men's and women's competitions. The women's team is led by Head Coach Bui Thai Ha and consists of four players: Mau Thi Nhu Quynh, Tran Thi Thao Huong, Hoang Thi Thao, and Nguyen Hoang Van San. The men's team is led by Coach David John Grice and consists of four players: Nguyen Huynh Phu Vinh, Nguyen Phuc Vinh, Nguyen Anh Kiet, and Huynh Thanh Tam.
The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup is the second consecutive basketball tournament in 2026 thatFPT Play has announced it will broadcast. Previously, the company announced a comprehensive strategic partnership with the VBA, becoming the producer and broadcaster of all matches for five consecutive seasons, from 2026 to 2030.
