On the morning of May 29th, candidates completed the English exam, the final subject of the entrance exam for 10th grade in public (non-specialized) high schools for the 2026-2027 school year.

The English exam is a combination of multiple-choice and essay questions, with a time limit of 60 minutes. The exam is considered to closely follow the junior high school curriculum, mainly focusing on grade 9, and includes questions designed to differentiate between above-average and excellent students.

According to information from the Department of Education and Training, 183 candidates were absent from the English exam out of a total of 24,853 registered candidates in the province. The exam supervision was conducted seriously and in accordance with regulations.

Later that afternoon, candidates applying to specialized schools will take the specialized subject exams in essay format, except for the Computer Science exam, which will be in the form of computer programming, with a time limit of 150 minutes.
