Information will be updated continuously.
Anh Duong, a former student of Tay Thanh High School, Ho Chi Minh City, said that these past few days she has been anxiously waiting for the university entrance exam results.
Placing his first choice in business administration at the University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Duong was both hopeful and worried.
"I think this year's benchmark will have many changes because the exam is considered difficult, but looking at the score distribution of candidates, the scores are relatively high," Duong shared.
With 7 wishes, Duong focuses mainly on economic majors, using both high school graduation exam scores and capacity assessment scores to increase his chances.
During the long wait for the results, Duong spent time traveling with family and friends to relax after the stressful exam. But in the days leading up to the announcement of the benchmark scores, Duong's mind was only focused on the phone screen.
"Closer to the announcement date, I just spent time following information, reading news in newspapers and forums to see if there was any information," Duong confided.
Similarly, Vo Thao, a girl from Nghe An , has put all her wishes into the Chinese language major. For Thao, her love of culture and desire to pursue a career related to foreign languages have been formed for a long time, so she decided to devote all her heart to this major.
However, that choice of focus made Thao even more nervous.
Thao shared that her exam score was not too high compared to the general level, while Chinese language has been in the group of majors with high standard scores for many years, attracting many candidates to register.
That fear of "no way back" makes the days waiting for the benchmark scores to be announced a stressful time.
“These days, every day I open social networks, browse forums to see predicted benchmark scores, both looking forward and feeling anxious,” Thao shared.
Tran Trung Hieu (Quang Nam) is also experiencing emotions of anticipation. After knowing his exam scores, Hieu did some preliminary calculations and realized that he had a chance to get into his desired major, but he was still nervous because he did not know how this year's benchmark scores would change.
I registered for information technology, a major that is attracting a large number of candidates and is also one of the majors with a steady increase in standard scores in recent years.
With his current score, Hieu is confident that he can pass some schools, but he is still worried about the unpredictable change in admission scores.
"What I want most right now is for the benchmark score to remain stable or just increase slightly so I can get into the school I want," Hieu said.
Hieu's concern is also the concern of many candidates. They have tried their best, have calculated carefully, but with the unpredictable fluctuations of the benchmark scores, all the preparation seems to be still not enough.

Ms. Ha, a parent whose child studies at Thu Thiem High School, Ho Chi Minh City, also cannot rest assured.
"Seeing my child study hard for years, now only a few hours left to know the results, I am more worried than my child," said Ms. Ha.
She added that the whole family was nervous and worried, from grandparents to parents and children. She determined: "If my child gets into the school he wants, I'm very happy, but if not, we have to find another way for him. I just hope he has a good future."
According to the schools' forecast, this year's benchmark scores will fluctuate a lot due to major changes in the admissions process.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, by 5pm today (August 20), universities will enter the benchmark scores and admission results into the common system. By 5pm on August 22 at the latest, all schools must announce the first round of benchmark scores.
After knowing the benchmark score, candidates need to immediately carry out the necessary procedures to ensure their rights such as: Checking the equivalent conversion method of admission scores, comparing benchmark scores, looking up the admission list, confirming admission on the general admission system, confirming admission with the school and proceeding with admission according to instructions.
For candidates who are not admitted in the first round, they will still have a chance in the supplementary admission round. At this time, candidates need to find out information about the supplementary admission at universities to find the most suitable choice for themselves.
