In 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will enroll students in 3 ways for 28 majors, including: Method 1 - direct admission and priority admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; Method 2 - admission based on the results of the valid HSA exam of Hanoi National University; Method 3 - admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
In method 2, the school stipulates that candidates must have HSA scores that are still valid until the deadline for submitting registration documents on the registration portal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (valid for 02 years from the exam date). The admission score scale is 150, then converted to a scale of 30 according to the formula that will be announced by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities later and add incentive points (if any) and priority points (if any) according to regulations.
With method 3, candidates register for admission according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training . If candidates have a foreign language certificate, it will be converted into the foreign language exam score in the registered admission combination (if desired).
This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities uses the following combinations of admissions to specific majors:

In addition, candidates also no longer have the opportunity to adjust the combination of registration with the Ministry of Education and Training.
A candidate expressed: "We are really confused. There are only 3 weeks left until the high school graduation exam, and at this time the school has just announced the enrollment plan and eliminated almost all of the C00 block in many majors - including "purely social" majors such as Journalism, Public Relations, Psychology... For 3 years, we have chosen the C00 block to review and study in depth. Studying C00 has never been easy, especially in the first year of taking the exam under the new general education program, the exam questions are difficult, the way the questions are set is innovative, and high scores are not easy to achieve. The three subjects of Literature, History, and Geography all require great effort to reach the 8-9 point mark, and even have to achieve absolute scores in 2/3 of the combined subjects."
Agreeing with this view, another candidate said that the independent admission of block D for Journalism or Public Relations is not fair to candidates who have studied block C00 for a long time. If block C00 is to be removed, it should be announced earlier so that candidates have enough time to prepare...
