Learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example has contributed to changing the way of thinking and working of the coal industry's workers and laborers, thereby creating widespread influence and maximizing the spirit of the miners.

Mr. Le Van Bien, a coal miner at the Mining Workshop 7 (Thong Nhat Coal Company - TKV), is a prime example of studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh .

Over the years, Mr. Bien has always been known as a dedicated and inquisitive worker who promptly identifies and addresses production challenges, working with colleagues to overcome difficulties, advising workshop leaders on solutions to improve productivity, and ensuring safety. Not only is he highly skilled professionally, but furnace worker Le Van Bien is also always united, enthusiastic in helping colleagues, and actively promotes and encourages them to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

In his work, Mr. Bien has also had many initiatives and technical improvements, effectively applying them to increase labor productivity, improve working conditions, ensure safety, and increase income for workers. For example, his initiative in rationalizing the renovation of the coal transport route of the II-4C-1 mine face by using the method of supporting the connecting tunnel -85, rearranging and repositioning transport equipment... With over 20 years dedicated to the profession, Mr. Bien has achieved many recognized accomplishments, and for many years he has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Emulation Soldier" at the grassroots level, "Creative Miner," and "Miner - Soldier."

Over the years, the TKV Trade Union and its units have seriously implemented Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. From planning to organizing the dissemination and implementation of annual thematic programs, flexibility has been applied to suit the actual conditions of each subordinate unit. The registration of studying and emulating Ho Chi Minh's example by cadres and workers has been carried out with specific content, closely aligned with the functions and tasks of each collective and individual. Therefore, the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style has spread throughout the TKV trade union at all levels, becoming a regular practice for each collective and individual. This has significantly contributed to the fulfillment of the political tasks of the units and the Group.

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is also linked to labor and production emulation movements aimed at achieving high and record productivity. Commendation and honoring programs all center around the workers, such as: "The Glory of the Miner - The Mark of Workers' Month"; "Miner's Traditional Day", "Miner's Tet", "The Miner - The Soldier"...

The units under the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee have developed 320 exemplary individuals associated with the image of "Miner - Soldier," 2,068 grassroots-level individuals, and 31 models of following President Ho Chi Minh's example.

After five years of organizing the "Glory of the Miners" program, the TKV Trade Union has commended and rewarded 900 outstanding workers, laborers, and excellent managers in the Group's production and business sectors. These movements have produced many outstanding collectives and individuals. Millions of initiatives and improvements have been made in production, contributing to increased productivity and reduced costs. Many exemplary high-level miners have emerged, actively helping colleagues improve their professional skills and expertise. Between 2018 and 2023, more than 43,500 innovative projects generated over 5 billion VND in benefits. Through the emulation movement to ensure working days, safety, and labor productivity, more than 6,000 workers have earned over 400 million VND per year.
