Recently, the National Economics University has issued a notice instructing candidates to practice registering for admission to the school according to the following methods: direct admission, combined admission, and considering high school graduation exam results.
Accordingly, the school opens the online practice registration portal from 8:00 a.m. on May 14 to 5:00 p.m. on May 18.
The school's official registration schedule is expected to be from 8:00 a.m. on June 1 to 5:00 p.m. on June 30.
Thus, candidates who plan to apply to the school using IELTS certificates as well as other international language certificates need to send their results to the school before 5:00 p.m. on June 30.

This is also the deadline for registration for admission using international language certificates to the University of Commerce. The school has officially opened the registration portal for candidates since May 15, accepting applications for direct admission and giving priority to candidates with excellent student awards, international language certificates, and results of competency assessment tests and thinking assessments.

Accordingly, candidates using international language certificates to convert to replace English/French subject scores in the admission combination need to register online on the school's admission portal from May 15 to June 10.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Foreign Trade University have two different admission registration schedules.
Candidates applying for Bach Khoa's talent exam using international certificates such as SAT, ACT combined with IELTS certificate need to register from now until June 5.
However, the school has not yet opened the registration portal for candidates who are admitted using their high school graduation exam scores. This means that candidates who use IELTS to replace their high school graduation exam scores in English in the admission combination do not have to register according to the above timeline.
Similarly, Foreign Trade University stipulates the expected registration period is June 9-22 for direct admission candidates and those applying for admission by SAT and TSA.
The group of candidates applying for admission combining high school transcripts with IELTS will register from July 21-28 on the school's admissions portal.
Many schools have a long deadline for registering priority admission information, including IELTS, until mid-July. Thuyloi University accepts registrations from May 20 to July 10.
Hanoi University of Industry accepts registration from now until 5:00 p.m. on July 5. Vietnam National University of Agriculture accepts registration until July 20.

An IELTS test preparation teacher said that candidates who have not achieved their desired IELTS score do not necessarily need to take the certificate before the high school graduation exam if the university they plan to apply to does not close the registration schedule early. Instead, candidates can conquer this certificate after the graduation exam.
"Currently, the IELTS test is conducted on computers. Candidates receive results after only 1-5 days, on average after 2 days. Therefore, if the university you plan to apply to opens the registration portal until mid-July, for example, Foreign Trade University, you can completely wait until the graduation exam is over to take the IELTS.
This helps students have more time to review, as well as focus more on studying because they are not distracted by many subjects," the female teacher shared.
