Today's weather (May 19): Temperatures rise in the North, hot days

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that today (May 19) the North will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms before the sun rises and the temperature increases; the Central, Southern and Central Highlands regions will experience localized heat.

From tomorrow (May 20), heat waves are likely to occur widely in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places over 38 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy, sunny day; light wind; temperature 24-35 degrees Celsius.

Hoang Sa archipelago area (Da Nang): No rain; visibility over 10km; Southeast to South wind level 3-4; waves 0.5-1.5m high.

Truong Sa archipelago (Khanh Hoa): Scattered showers and thunderstorms; tornadoes and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms; visibility is over 10km, reduced to 4-10km during rain; light winds; waves 0.5-1.5m high.
