The exhibition is organized by the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Photo and video exhibition “Happy Vietnam” - A unique experience space of art and technology at the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition taking place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

This is a cultural highlight, spreading the message of simple, familiar happy values ​​in the daily life of Vietnamese people.

Happy Vietnam is a photo and video contest on the Vietnam Image Promotion Platform - Vietnam.vn, with the goal of encouraging people across the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends, to apply digital technology to create photos and videos about the country and people of Vietnam.

Since its launch in June 2023, the contest has received 20,000 photos.

The exhibition area with the theme “Happy Vietnam” includes 150 photos and 30 videos on 3 themes: Land of Happiness, Happy People, Happy Moments. The exhibition is combined with 3D/VR/Metaverse virtual reality technology.

150 selected photos are displayed according to three themes:

- Land of Happiness: Introducing the natural beauty, cultural heritage and richness of the regions.

- Happy People: Portraying the portrait of Vietnamese people in working, studying, creating and sharing.

- Happy Moments: Capture emotional everyday moments, reminding us that happiness comes from the simplest things.

Digital technology and digital platforms have created conditions for every citizen, no matter where they are, with a smartphone and 4G/5G coverage, to be creative and contribute their voice to create a Vietnam of the people.

Digital technology expands the experience

One of the attractions of the exhibition is the application of modern technology through 3D mapping and augmented reality (AR).

Visitors can explore the entire exhibition of 80 years of digitalized socio-economic achievements, multi-layered digital maps of 34 provinces and cities, and interact directly with vivid images, sounds, and digital spaces.

All of this data is uploaded to digital space through the vietnam.vn platform so that people around the world can experience it when they do not have the opportunity to visit the exhibition in person.

Vietnam.vn image promotion platform gathers information from press agencies, central and local information portals, integrates Happy Vietnam social network and Vietnam promotion database, translated into 10 languages ​​using advanced Google Translate tool.

Currently, Vietnam.vn is a foreign information platform serving millions of readers with 80% of access from abroad.

In addition, with 29,220 gifts with QR codes, visitors will have the opportunity to receive gifts at the exhibition. The gifts are a combination of daily necessities for students and offices with images of happy Vietnam and digital technology.

Along with modern technology and products closely related to life, the exhibition also honors traditional art through lacquer works by folk artisans.

With the technique of multiple layers of paint, engraving and metallic sheen, Latoa brings to the public a visual experience rich in depth, both elegant and modern.

“Happy Vietnam” is not only a place to admire but also a space for the public to participate and create, with many attractive interactive activities organized such as taking photos at the photobooth to preserve memorable moments here...

In particular, each visitor to the exhibition will receive a Happiness Passport, recording their experience at the exhibition and will travel around the country with them.

Through the exhibition space, the Organizing Committee wishes to spread the message of a happy Vietnam - where happiness comes from great achievements, expressed through everyday moments: children's smiles, working hands, and a spirit of constant creativity.

The "Happy Vietnam" exhibition area takes place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 on the 2nd floor, Building A1, National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
