Approval of draft content for organizing Culture - Sports - Tourism Week

On April 8, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa chaired a meeting to approve the content of the draft plan to organize the 2nd Cultural - Sports - Tourism Week of Long An province in 2024. Also attending the conference were Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Huynh Van Thanh and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the plans and programs taking place within the framework of the Culture - Sports - Tourism Week and sideline activities. At the same time, they proposed to organize more space to display antiques, artifacts, and historical documents about the process of exploration and development of Long An land.

The meeting also approved the decision to establish the Organizing Committee of the Culture - Sports - Tourism Week, headed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut, and 3 sub-committees.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa suggested: the selected programs must have the characteristics of Long An and be suitable for the province's resources; the locations must be carefully surveyed to ensure suitability for each program; sideline activities must also be implemented practically and effectively. At the same time, the Vice Chairman also directed to strengthen communication, spread and promote the image, unique cultural heritage values, potential and strengths of Long An tourism to domestic and international friends and tourists.

Culture - Sports - Tourism Week 2024 is expected to take place from November 23 to 27, 2024.

With the theme "Long An - Aspiration of Vam River", the 2024 Cultural - Sports - Tourism Food Week is expected to take place from November 23 to 27, with many meaningful programs such as: international DJ music and light festival; Vietnam puppetry festival; street food festival, OCOP fair and Long An tourism; sports tournaments; tourism connection seminars; fireworks display...
