Latest information about the Military Parade (A80)

To ensure thorough preparation for the upcoming preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals, and official parade, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested that all agencies and units continue to focus intensely on reviewing and meticulously preparing in all aspects.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, chaired the meeting.

Intensive preparations are underway for the A80 parade and march.

On the afternoon of August 25th, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Task A80) held a meeting of the forces participating in the task. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, chaired the meeting.

At the conference, delegates reviewed and drew lessons from the two recent joint rehearsals at Ba Dinh Square. The focus was on the organization of troop movements; coordination in ensuring security, safety, logistics, and technical support; parade and march formations; and the content of commentary and sound systems.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility, effort, and perseverance of the forces in overcoming difficulties during the past period, especially during the two joint training exercises at Ba Dinh Square.

General Nguyen Van Nghia emphasized that the results achieved clearly demonstrated the spirit, courage, discipline, regularity, and unity of the Army, thereby contributing to affirming the serious and thorough preparation and readiness for this particularly important political and historical event of the country.

Emphasis should be placed on instilling and educating officers and soldiers to foster a sense of responsibility and determination in carrying out their duties. Good logistical and technical support must be ensured; safety of personnel, vehicles, and equipment must be maintained throughout the entire movement, especially in complex weather conditions.

In addition, actively pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of officers and soldiers; seriously learn from experience, overcome shortcomings, and maintain effective training according to plan.

At the same time, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia also directed that all necessary services be fully provided for foreign military delegations participating in the A80 mission, contributing to the complete success of the commemoration ceremony.
