- On May 11th, during a border patrol and control operation, a task force from the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Station discovered and apprehended two individuals for illegally transporting 140kg of frozen food of unknown origin.

Specifically, at 2:50 AM on May 11, 2026, on a trail in Chi Ma village, Mau Son commune, the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Post task force spotted two men riding a motorbike from the border towards the interior, carrying several green sacks, exhibiting suspicious behavior. The task force signaled them to stop for an administrative check. Initial verification revealed that the two men were Lam Van Khoi (born in 1993, Ban Khoai village, Mau Son commune), driving a motorbike with license plate 12L1-316.48, and Ngo Van Hen (born in 1987, Coc Nhan village, Mau Son commune), driving a motorbike without a license plate.
During a vehicle inspection, authorities discovered five sacks of goods on each vehicle. Inside the sacks were cardboard boxes containing a large quantity of frozen sausages. These products were uniformly packaged (700g/pack), vacuum-sealed, and had foreign language markings on the packaging. The total weight of the seized goods is estimated at approximately 140kg.
At the time of inspection, neither Khoẻ nor Hẻn could produce any invoices or documents proving the legality and origin of the sausages in question.
Through questioning, the suspects confessed that they were hired by an unidentified man to transport the goods from the Thang Long area, Chi Ma village, Mau Son commune to the Chi Ma resettlement area, Mau Son commune, for a fee of 90,000 VND per person.
The task force of the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Station has drawn up a violation report and is continuing to verify and clarify the matter in order to handle it strictly according to the law.
