- Transportation plays a crucial role in economic development, but it also poses many potential traffic safety risks. Recently, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has organized numerous thematic awareness campaigns, requiring transportation businesses to sign commitments to strictly comply with regulations, contributing to building a safe and civilized traffic culture in the area.
On May 20, 2026, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police organized a program to disseminate information and sign commitments to comply with traffic safety regulations with units, businesses, and individual drivers operating in the transportation sector in the province. At this event, drivers and business owners received information and detailed analysis of common violations in passenger transportation. In addition, the officers pointed out the causes of traffic accidents, analyzed real-life situations, highlighted driver errors, and provided guidance on prevention and civilized traffic participation.

Mr. Le Cong Tinh, a driver transporting construction materials, shared: "Through this awareness campaign, we have updated our knowledge of the law, better understood violations and their consequences, and thus proactively adjusted our behavior to drive more safely. In particular, the content on building a civilized, courteous, and respectful traffic culture towards customers and other road users was emphasized, helping us to clearly recognize the importance of service attitude, conduct, and responsibility, building the image of a professional driver…"
Not only individual drivers received information, but also transportation business owners, after participating in these awareness campaigns, proactively implemented regulations to ensure traffic safety. Mr. Bui Tuan Anh, Director of Quoc Anh One-Member Limited Company, shared: "Since the establishment of our company, we have proactively coordinated with the Traffic Police Department to organize awareness campaigns and training on safe driving skills for all drivers, and signed commitments to strictly comply with traffic safety regulations. Every month we hold meetings to disseminate and explain new regulations, reminding drivers and staff to comply with the law when participating in traffic."
According to statistics from the Department of Construction, there are currently about 330 businesses engaged in passenger and goods transportation by automobile in the province, with approximately 2,400 vehicles of various types.
Lieutenant Colonel Phuong Thuc Dinh, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, said: In order to ensure traffic safety in the area, the unit has recently directed its subordinate teams and stations to proactively coordinate with transportation businesses to strengthen the dissemination of legal regulations on traffic safety to businesses and drivers. Just since the beginning of 2026, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has organized 13 awareness campaigns, reaching 4,850 drivers and transportation business owners. Compared to the same period last year, this represents an increase of 3 campaigns and nearly 1,000 more drivers and business owners participating.
Training and disseminating information to improve legal knowledge, professional skills, and traffic awareness among commercial transport drivers not only helps reduce accidents and violations but also contributes to building a safe, modern, and civilized traffic environment.
