Recalling the declaration form of 8 types of facial cleanser, sunscreen, and skin care products imported from Germany

8 types of sunscreen, facial cleanser, skin care products... imported from Germany distributed by a company in Hanoi have just had their registration numbers revoked due to violations.

On July 23, Deputy Director of the Department of Drug Administration ( Ministry of Health ) Ta Manh Hung said that he had just signed a decision to withdraw 8 numbers of Product Declaration Forms for 8 types of cosmetics originating from Germany, which Van Minh Trading Company Limited (lane 28, Phuong Mai street, Hanoi) was responsible for bringing to the market.

The reason for the recall is that the cosmetics have formulas that do not match the declared documents, the cosmetics in circulation have labels that misrepresent the inherent nature and features of the product.

These products include: Bel-Energen Daydream Cleansing Foam; Sun Protection/SPF 50+ sunscreen; Line A Cream acne treatment cream; Bel-Energen PhytoSensation Elixir anti-aging essence; Intensa Skin Renewal Oleo Serum serum; Line A Clarity Concentrate anti-inflammatory, acne-reducing essence; Samtea perfect recovery Body cream; Sun protection face elixir SPF 30 sunscreen.

The above products are manufactured by BELCOS COSMETIC GmbH Wodanstrabe 12 38106 Brauns (Germany). In the Vietnamese market, sales websites introduce products at quite expensive prices. For example, Samtea perfect recovery Body cream is sold for nearly 2.7 million VND; Intensa Skin Renewal Oleo Serum is priced at more than 2.8 million VND...

Yesterday, the Drug Administration also announced the recall of the declaration form for 8 famous cosmetic products of the Image brand (USA) which were brought to the market by Minh Khuong Trading Company Limited ( Ho Chi Minh City). The reason for the recall is that the main label of the product does not contain the correct ingredients and formula as in the cosmetic product declaration file.
