VTV.vn - Total state budget revenue in 2025 is estimated to reach 2.65 trillion VND, exceeding the annual forecast by nearly 35%.

According to the General Statistics Office's assessment, both revenue and expenditure in the past year ensured that they met the higher demands for socio- economic development, national defense, security, state management, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

These results were achieved thanks to strengthened revenue management and close coordination among ministries, sectors, and localities to promote efforts to combat revenue loss, smuggling, trade fraud, and recover outstanding tax debts.

Regarding key revenue sources, some domestic revenue streams performed well, such as revenue from housing and land, thanks to localities promoting land auctions and land leases, which contributed to the timely mobilization of land resources for the budget.

According to the General Statistics Office, the management of expenditures in 2025 will be strict, thoroughly saving on regular expenses, allocating and ensuring increased resources for public investment, promoting economic growth; ensuring the implementation of policies and regulations when restructuring the apparatus; ensuring national defense and security; preventing, combating, and mitigating the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; and implementing social welfare policies.
