The Prime Minister has finalized the plan for the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday.

The Government Office has just issued document No. 8662/VPCP-KGVX dated November 3, 2023, conveying the opinion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh regarding the Lunar New Year holiday and National Day holiday in 2024.

Specifically, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to extend the Lunar New Year holiday from February 8, 2024 to February 14, 2024 and the National Day holiday from August 31, 2024 to September 3, 2024.

The Prime Minister has instructed the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to inform administrative agencies, public service organizations, political organizations, socio-political organizations, businesses, and workers about the Lunar New Year and National Day holidays in 2024.
