(DN) - The Government Office has just issued document No. 3899 related to the Aqua City project of Novaland Group in Dong Nai.

In particular, the Prime Minister requested Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi to work directly with Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon, Chairman of Novaland Group (investor of Aqua City project). Previously, the Prime Minister received a dispatch from the Petition Committee under the National Assembly Standing Committee regarding the transfer of Novaland Group's petition requesting urgent removal of obstacles in projects in Dong Nai.

In February 2023, at the conference to remove and promote the safe, healthy and sustainable development of the real estate market chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon proposed to choose the Aqua City project as a pilot project for the Prime Minister's Working Group and localities to remove legal issues.

In April 2023, the Prime Minister's Working Group worked with the investor on this project.

In May 2023, the Provincial People's Committee sent a report to the Prime Minister, stating: the project to adjust the general planning of Bien Hoa City was approved in 2014, the C4 subdivision planning was approved in 2016. However, at the time of approval, the detailed planning documents at the scale of 1/500 of previously approved projects, including Novaland's project, were not fully updated.

Therefore, the province proposed to approve the policy of preparing a dossier to locally adjust the general planning of Bien Hoa city, adjust the C4 subdivision planning project on the basis of updating the current status and detailed planning projects of the projects.
