What did the Kyrgyzstan coach say after losing to Vietnam U23?

Kyrgyzstan U23 coach Edmar Lacerda expressed regret but also had to admit that Vietnam U23 deserved the victory.

"It's a shame we lost by one penalty and one set-piece. But congratulations to Vietnam U23 for their deserved win. They played well and are a strong team," said coach Edmar Lacerda after the 1-2 defeat to Vietnam U23 .

"As everyone saw, we started confidently, making strong attacking efforts on both flanks to cross the ball into the box. I had my players train very thoroughly."

"We are a new team and I want the players to evaluate themselves. There are good points and areas that need improvement after the last two matches. But overall, all the players want to win," coach Edmar Lacerda shared after the Kyrgyzstan U23 team was officially eliminated one match early.

"Ninety minutes on the pitch always determine who the players truly are. We trained in Qatar and then Turkey, but things didn't go as planned and hoped. I thought we could play as well as we did in the qualifiers, but obviously that didn't happen in the Asian Championship," coach Edmar Lacerda said with disappointment.
