Promoting innovation and global integration from the classroom

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Finance Bui Van Khang emphasized that in the context of the world changing strongly with technological breakthroughs, extensive globalization and urgent requirements for growth model innovation, the financial sector is deeply aware of the inability to continue developing with old ways of doing things.

Comrade Bui Van Khang also stated that the Academy of Finance needs to build research and innovation centers linked to the market, while promoting connections with businesses and authorities at all levels to create an effective training-research-application ecosystem.

“The business community, especially financial, technology and creative startup businesses, should invest in financial science and technology, cooperate with schools and the State to deploy policy experiments, apply technology in public financial management, thereby spreading the value of innovation and increasing productivity throughout the system,” Deputy Minister Bui Van Khang suggested.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung, Director of the Academy of Finance, innovation, digital transformation and international cooperation are the three driving forces throughout the Academy's development strategy. This clearly demonstrates the Academy of Finance's vision of building an open, smart and globally integrated university, meeting the increasing demands of the labor market and the development of science and technology.

At the forum, delegates focused on discussing digital transformation in highereducation , AI application in training and research; international education strategy and strengthening links between parties in the education-innovation ecosystem.

On this occasion, there were product introduction activities and direct exchanges between students and businesses, technology experts and managers at the forum's experience area; the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Finance and many businesses, international organizations, and prestigious universities at home and abroad.
