Ho Chi Minh City People's Council proposes a non-public school to invest in an experience area for students.

After surveying a number of schools in Binh Duong ward (HCMC), the leaders of the Culture and Social Committee of the HCMC People's Council proposed that Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School invest in a separate practical experience area for students.

On the afternoon of September 10, the Culture and Society Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council conducted a survey at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Eastern International University in Binh Duong Ward (Ho Chi Minh City). At Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Mr. Nguyen Hao Hiep, Principal of the school, said that in the 2025-2026 school year, the whole school has 4,498 students, of which the secondary school has 37 classes with a total of 1,747 students; the high school has 61 classes with 2,751 students.

Regarding facilities, Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School has put into use a newly expanded facility (next to the old facility), increasing the total number of classrooms to 98; at the same time, expanding the library, canteen, dining hall, dormitory, renovating the playground, sports field, swimming pool, etc.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School has 866 high school graduates, achieving a 100% graduation rate with an average score of 7.92. The percentage of graduates passing university entrance exams is 100%.

Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School students have a graduation rate and university entrance rate of 100%.

Mr. Nguyen Hao Hiep said that because it is a private school, the school's operating expenses mainly depend on socialized education sources (tuition fees), so the school must balance its revenue to make appropriate expenditures.

Regarding this field, Mr. Cao Thanh Binh, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, suggested that Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School invite investors to build more facilities and invest in an additional practical experience area for students.

Encourage Eastern International University to expand international cooperation in Ho Chi Minh City

At Eastern International University (EIU), invested by Becamex Group under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, Principal of EIU, said that in the 2025-2026 school year, there will be over 6,000 students studying at the school.

EIU has 10 training majors including: Nursing, business administration, economics, computer networks and data communications, software engineering, electronics and telecommunications engineering, mechatronic engineering, control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering.

EIU is home to the Vietnam – Singapore Innovation Center; the 4.0 Technology Laboratory Center… attracting many students from Singapore to study and research.

Many students from Singapore come to EIU to study and do scientific research.

After surveying the facilities, libraries, classrooms, laboratories, etc., Mr. Cao Thanh Binh suggested that EIU continue to expand cooperation with Singaporean partners to train, practice, and experiment for domestic and foreign students.
