Hanoi National University organizes 6 capacity assessment exams from March 7 to May 24, 2026

Specifically, there will be 6 HSA exams taking place from March 7, 2026 to May 24, 2026 in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh ... Each exam is expected to have about 20,000 candidates.

Candidates create an exam account from November 25, 2025 to December 27, 2025 at: https://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/ or https:/hsa.edu.vn/.

Candidates can only choose one exam session in each exam session. The exam registration schedule is expected to be from 9:00 on December 28, 2025 to 16:30 on February 7, 2026. In case of any change in exam registration time, the Institute for Digital Training and Testing - Hanoi National University will notify candidates 10 days in advance on the Institute's information pages.

The system will open for candidates to choose the second exam session (if there are still seats available according to the exam scale) from 9:00 on February 8, 2026 to 9:00 on February 14, 2026. Candidates should note that the exam registration period may end earlier when all the exam seats have been registered by candidates. The system only allows accounts to log in and operate on one computer device at the same time.

Candidates must pay the exam registration fee online within 96 hours of completing the exam registration. After 96 hours, if the candidate does not pay the fee, the exam will be automatically canceled. The exam fee is 600,000 VND/candidate/exam. The fee is non-refundable for any reason. The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 2 exams/year (until December 31, 2026). Two consecutive exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam notice will be sent via email and notified to the exam account 7 days before the official exam date.

The HSA High School Student Assessment Test is conducted on a computer, lasting 195 minutes and consisting of 3 parts, including 2 compulsory parts in the fields of Mathematics and Data Processing (50 questions, 75 minutes); Literature - Language (50 questions, 60 minutes). The third part (50 questions, 60 minutes), candidates choose Science or English.

Candidates can view the "Reference Exam" at the exam information portal: https://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/. In each exam section, there may be an additional test question that does not count for points (the exam system will calculate additional time for test questions).

Candidates can check their exam results and receive the digital score report via their account within 2 weeks from the end of the exam period. The paper score report will be sent by post to the address and phone number declared in the HSA exam registration account within 3 weeks after the end of the exam period (for candidates who register to receive the paper version).

The Hanoi National University High School Aptitude Test (HSA) is one of the largest private exams in the country. The results of this exam are used by more than 100 training institutions for admission to regular universities every year.
