Tuyen Quang starts construction of inter-level boarding schools in border communes

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Minh Tan primary and secondary boarding school.

Comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Minh Tan Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Minh Tan commune.

Also attending were comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; leaders of a number of central ministries, branches and Tuyen Quang province.

Minh Tan Primary and Secondary Boarding School is built on an area of over 4 hectares, with a total project investment of 251 billion VND.

Students are children of ethnic minorities in Minh Tan commune attending the groundbreaking ceremony.

The school has 45 classrooms, meeting the learning and boarding needs of more than 1,500 students. The project items include: Headmaster's house, library; classroom block; subject block; gymnasium; outdoor sports field; student boarding area; teachers' office building; dining hall with technical infrastructure system, garden, and other auxiliary works.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, the total investment for 5 inter-level boarding schools in border communes is more than 1,144 billion VND. The province strives to complete the school construction projects before August 2026.

Previously, in August 2025, Tuyen Quang province also held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build Thanh Thuy Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Thanh Thuy commune.

All inter-level boarding schools are designed synchronously and modernly. Once completed, they will create conditions for students to enjoy the best learning, training and living environment; thereby contributing to maintaining student numbers and improving the quality of comprehensive education in border communes.

The groundbreaking and construction of inter-level boarding schools in border communes of Tuyen Quang province also has profound political and social significance, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the material and spiritual life of people in border areas, contributing to strengthening national defense and security, and building a strong border area.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh presented gifts to students of Minh Tan B Primary School.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and leaders of several central ministries, branches and leaders of Tuyen Quang province performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of five primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes of Minh Tan, Son Vi, Pho Bang, Pa Vay Su and Xin Man.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung presented 372 gifts to students of Minh Tan B Primary School.
