Cao Bang: Commencement of construction of 10 inter-level boarding schools in border communes

On the morning of November 9, in 10 border communes in Cao Bang province, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 10 primary and secondary boarding schools took place.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a primary and secondary boarding school in Dinh Phong commune, Cao Bang province.

The communes that received investment in building inter-level boarding schools on this occasion include: Dinh Phong, Truong Ha, Lung Nam, Tong Cot, Tra Linh, Quang Han, Quang Trung, Dam Thuy, Ha Lang and Duc Long.

Invested in construction on this occasion, the Dinh Phong Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School Project has a total investment of 210 billion VND; construction area of ​​5 hectares; project implementation period from 2025-2026.

The project is invested in synchronous construction of items: head office, subject classrooms; dormitory for teachers and students; kitchen, multi-purpose house and auxiliary items...

Upon completion, the Dinh Phong Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School will provide living and studying space for thousands of students in the area, meeting 100% of the boarding needs of students in the commune.

Attending and speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dinh Phong Primary and Secondary Boarding School, comrade Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Construction, emphasized the important political significance and profound humanistic significance of the simultaneous groundbreaking of primary and secondary boarding schools in border communes.

The Minister of Construction affirmed that investing in and building inter-level schools demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State for ethnic minority children in border areas, remote areas, and especially disadvantaged areas.

Building spacious classrooms will help students have better learning conditions and improve the teaching and learning quality of teachers and students.

Minister Tran Hong Minh requested construction units, relevant agencies and units to ensure the quality, progress, techniques and aesthetics of the construction of the inter-level boarding school.
