Following Phuong My Chi, Duc Phuc brings Vietnamese culture to the international music competition

Duc Phuc went to Russia at the introduction of NOMAD MGMT Vietnam (under DatVietVAC) - the unit assigned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to introduce national representative artists to participate in the music competition Intervision Song Contest 2025 (abbreviated: Intervision 2025).

Attending the event were more than 20 representatives from countries such as Vietnam, China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, South Africa, USA, Venezuela, Kazakhstan...

Intervision 2025 takes place from September 11 to 20 at Live Arena, Novoivanovskoye, Moscow, Russia.

This event marks the return of Intervision after a hiatus of more than four decades. The competition was previously held in Czechoslovakia (1965-1968) and Poland (1977-1980), where it was considered one of the most prestigious music events in Eastern Europe.

On the morning of September 10, Duc Phuc and his group departed for Russia. The artist wore a white ao dai with a Vietnamese flag badge, smiling and interacting with fans.

Joining the delegation were Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts Ha Minh Thang and People's Artist Nguyen Trong Dai - one of the judges of the Intervision 2025 competition.

According to the schedule, from September 11 to 19, the teams will participate in training sessions and cultural tours in Russia. The official competition will take place on September 20.

Duc Phuc shared that he felt proud, excited and nervous. He saw this as an opportunity to spread and connect different cultural values, to bring and tell stories of his homeland Vietnam through music to send to international friends.

The list of contestants includes B. Howard, an American singer, producer and songwriter, author of many chart-topping singles, author of the theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and Elvis Wang, “China’s national musical treasure”, one of the most expressive voices in contemporary Chinese music.

Duc Phuc takes Phu Dong Thien Vuong to the exam

It is known that Duc Phuc and his crew are preparing Phu Dong Thien Vuong - a completely new song, exclusively for Intervision 2025 .

Songs by musician Ho Hoai Anh are imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, and also express many elements of the spirit, people and soul of the Vietnamese people.

"Phuc knows this is an extremely rare opportunity to spread and share the colors of music and culture that bring Vietnamese identity to international friends through music, so Phuc will definitely seize this opportunity to do his best," the singer shared.

Duc Phuc added that as a young artist, he hopes he can add a modern touch to this song.
