The miracle named Tue Lam
Fourteen pregnancies, fourteen failed pregnancies. It seemed like she would never have another chance to hear the call of “mother”, but one day, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (group 6, Nghia Lo ward) heard that a newborn baby was in need of protection. At that time, only two months after losing her 14th child, her heart was still full of pain and loss. However, the moment she held the newborn baby in her arms, her maternal instincts arose again. She decided to raise her baby - Tue Lam with her own milk and love that she had accumulated over many years but had not had time to give.
"At that time, I was not sick yet. I just knew that I had truly become a mother," said Ms. Thuy. Her smile was intact, but emotions rushed back, touching: “I told myself, no matter how difficult it is, I will raise my children to be good people.”

From that moment, a new journey began, the journey of a mother carrying boundless love and of a daughter growing up with understanding and kindness.
When she discovered her mother had stage 3 breast cancer, which had progressed to stage 4, instead of being afraid, she chose to be strong and become her mother's spiritual support. At the age of 17, Tue Lam still always smiled, as if that smile was the gentlest medicine for her mother who was fighting the disease every day.
Journey to reach the dream
Currently a student of class 10A1, Nghia Lo High School, Vu Tue Lam is not only a good student but also an active Youth Union officer, holding the role of Secretary of the class Youth Union and Deputy Secretary of the school Youth Union. For 9 consecutive years, she has achieved the title of excellent student, and has been recognized many times as "Uncle Ho's Good Grandchild" at the provincial level. In 2024, Tue Lam won the runner-up position in the National Young MC Contest and was invited by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to participate in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). More admirably, all of these achievements come from her self-study, self-discovery and constant efforts to improve.
“I like telling stories and listening. Being an MC helps me understand people better and become more confident. Fashion shows give me a way to express myself, and studying helps me maintain a solid foundation for the future. Youth is the best time to dare to try and dare to make mistakes. I just hope to experience a lot, so that later I can inspire people - to tell them about the beauty of my homeland and country." - Tue Lam said, her voice clear, her eyes bright and deep.

Not only shining on stage, Tue Lam is also loved by teachers and friends for her sense of responsibility and kindness.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang - Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghia Lo High School shared: “ Tue Lam is a special student who can balance between studying and participating in social activities. She is not only a good student and mature, but also knows how to care and spread positive energy to the community. To me, Tue Lam is the inspirational core of the school.”
Spread the love
Since first grade, Tue Lam has participated in charity activities such as giving Tet gifts, visiting lonely elderly people and families with meritorious services. Almost every year, she sets aside a small portion of her lucky money and her excellent student bonus to support students in difficult circumstances.
“ She said she was loved a lot, so she wanted to share" - Tue Lam's mother revealed about her daughter.

Her adoptive parents emotionally shared: “ Since she was young, she has been independent, knows how to organize her studies and participate in activities. What makes us most proud is that she always thinks of others. Every July 27th and Tet, she visits the elderly without anyone having to remind her.”
At the age of 17, full of dreams, Tue Lam chose to live a kind life, to spread love. Talking about her dream, she said: “In the future, I want to become someone who can inspire society; a reporter, a lawyer, or a professional MC. I want to tell beautiful stories, so that whoever hears them will love their homeland and country more.”
Light from the heart
In the small house, every afternoon, the laughter of mother and daughter still echoes in the wind. Ms. Thuy, despite fighting against illness, still believes that life has been fair to her because she has Tue Lam, a daughter who is not of the same blood but shares the same heartbeat of love.
“My child is the most beautiful thing that life has given me. As long as my child lives a kind and loving life, no matter what happens, I will be at peace,” Thuy smiled, her eyes shining with faith.

Tue Lam sat beside her, holding her mother's hands tightly, her voice choked with emotion: "I just hope you stay healthy so you can be with me through all the springs to come."
Outside, the late autumn sunlight gently weaves through the leaves, sparkling like the magical rays of life. At the age of 17 - the age of dreams and aspirations, I quietly shine with a gentle light emanating from a heart filled with love.
