The second landslide point at Km49+200 is basically clear.

Up to now, the work of clearing the landslide point on Kim Quy pass (village 4 - Binh Dien commune) is being carried out urgently.

Forces, vehicles and machinery started leveling the soil and rocks from 4am. By around 12pm on October 28, the second landslide at Km49+200 was basically cleared.

Previously, on October 27, while forces were leveling rocks and soil at the first landslide point on Kim Quy Pass, another landslide occurred about 300 meters away.

To ensure safety and avoid the risk of being isolated by rocks and soil, Mr. Le Nhat Minh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Dien commune asked everyone to leave their machines and vehicles, quickly retreat to a safe place and monitor the situation to have an optimal solution.

"According to the progress, it is expected that this afternoon, the first landslide point on Kim Quy Pass will be cleared," informed Mr. Le Nhat Minh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Dien commune.
