Review of the production, business, and investment development situation of Lao Cai Power Company for the period 2021-2025

On October 28th, Task Force No. 3 of the Northern Power Corporation held a working session with the Lao Cai Power Company to review the implementation of the 5-year production, business, and investment development plan (2021-2025).

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Lao Cai Power Company, reported on the results of production, business, and investment development over the past five years to the delegation from the Northern Power Corporation.

The report states that during the period 2021-2025, Lao Cai Power Company faced many difficulties and challenges. With the spirit of solidarity and proactive efforts of all officials, employees, and workers, the company quickly stabilized its organization, streamlined its structure, and ensured continuous and uninterrupted production and business operations. Task assignments were clearly defined, rational, and efficient, gradually improving operational efficiency and labor productivity.

Over the past five years, commercial electricity output has grown at an average rate of 7.38% per year, adequately meeting the load demand for industrial development, services, rural areas, and mountainous border regions. Electricity loss rates have been well controlled, continuously decreasing and remaining below the targets set by the Corporation. The members of the delegation highly appreciated the performance results of Lao Cai Power Company during the 2021-2025 period.

In particular, Lao Cai Power Company has boldly implemented organizational and management restructuring, significantly reducing the number of indirect laborers, effectively promoting the role of the specialized Project Management Board, and increasing the proactive role of its subordinate units. It has also accelerated digital transformation in many areas.
