Representatives of leaders, reporters, editors of provincial press agencies and central news agencies stationed in Lao Cai highly appreciated the coordination and information provision of Lao Cai Electricity Company, and at the same time requested the electricity sector to continue to coordinate closely and provide more timely information on electricity-related contents that readers and the public are interested in, contributing to orienting public opinion.
At the meeting, the leaders of Lao Cai Electricity Company also provided an overview of the results of production and business tasks in recent times, especially the electricity supply situation during the hot season.
Regarding the implementation of the policy of merging and streamlining the apparatus, the leader of Lao Cai Electricity Company said that the electricity industry is also organizing and rearranging specialized departments, power plants, and operating teams to ensure effective operation of the electricity system.
Results of production and business tasks of Lao Cai Electricity Company in the first 6 months of the year
In the first 6 months of 2025, the cumulative commercial electricity output reached over 1.2 billion kWh, up 0.8% over the same period last year, equal to 40.2% of the assigned annual plan. Electricity revenue reached over VND 2,252.77 billion, up 8.02% over the same period. The electricity loss rate was 2.13%, down 0.14% over the same period and 0.07% lower than the plan.
The weather forecast for 2025 is complicated, so from the beginning of the year, Lao Cai Electricity Company has developed and implemented a power supply plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee. The items of repairing, renovating the power grid, and periodic testing have been completed before April 30, 2025 to ensure the safe operation of the power system. Lao Cai Electricity Company has coordinated with large enterprises and customers to proactively plan to reduce load when necessary, without affecting production.
