Lao Cai Electricity Company effectively implements the work of streamlining and streamlining the organizational apparatus.

The working group of the Vietnam Electricity Group's Organizing Committee recently worked with Lao Cai Electricity Company to evaluate the organization and reorganization of the apparatus after the merger, and at the same time listened to recommendations related to labor quotas and organizational structure in the coming period. Also attending the working session were leaders of the Northern Electricity Corporation.

Lao Cai Power Company is considered one of the units that has implemented organizational restructuring in a systematic, scientific, and effective manner. After merging with Yen Bai Power Company, the company proactively developed a plan and closely coordinated with relevant units to implement it synchronously, from organizing dialogues and briefings to employees, perfecting the new organizational model. From July 1, 2025, the merged system officially began operating stably.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Head of the Organization Department of Vietnam Electricity Group, affirmed that Phase 1 was merely a "mechanical" step, while Phase 2 will focus on building a more "refined, compact, and efficient" organizational model. Currently, the Group has streamlined its departments from 21 to 16, and dissolved two large service units.

Tran Viet Anh, Head of the Organization Department of Vietnam Electricity Group, requested that member units proactively choose models suitable to local characteristics, avoiding rigid application based on the number of departments.

Regarding the recommendations from Lao Cai Power Company and Northern Power Corporation, the working group will study them and incorporate them into future organizational plans.
