The most outstanding achievement, and the basis for the Chairwoman of the Board of Members of Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Company being honored as an Outstanding Science and Technology Entrepreneur, is the project "Developing a production process for health protection products from natural bird's nest extract from Khanh Hoa". This is a provincial-level scientific project that she chaired, along with the project "Research on the production process of concentrated extract products rich in antioxidant activity from Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest" (2017). These studies have provided new scientific data, enhancing the value chain of Khanh Hoa bird's nest, shifting from preliminary processing to deep processing, and optimizing the biological activity of bird's nest.
Based on this research, Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Company successfully launched three lines of Sanvinest natural bird's nest extract products for children, the elderly, and other age groups, along with two sugar-free product lines. These new products have generated breakthrough revenue. After two years of production, revenue from these products reached 44 billion VND. Notably, value-added products thanks to the application of science and technology account for approximately 15-30% of the company's total annual revenue, serving around 25,000-30,000 direct beneficiaries of the nutrients. This achievement has contributed to the company's total revenue for the 2021-2025 period reaching nearly 12,993 billion VND.
From resource conservation to global standards
The science and technology strategy of the Chairwoman of the Board of Members, Trinh Thi Hong Van, focuses not only on output products but also on ensuring the sustainability of input resources. The company has concentrated on state-level research projects on the management, exploitation, and development of the genetic resources of island swiftlets. These scientific works help the company understand the biological cycle of swiftlets, thereby creating effective technical solutions to increase population growth and expand swiftlet caves. Thanks to mastering science and technology, the company has been able to achieve stable production while preventing the depletion of precious resources, ensuring that Khanh Hoa bird's nest remains a truly natural product for many years to come. This is also the company's pioneering "Green Brand" orientation, linking production with conservation, environmental protection, and the development of island swiftlet resources.

The initiative "Applying a green energy-powered IP camera system for security monitoring on swiftlet islands" has been implemented on key swiftlet islands. This initiative allows for remote management, saves costs and manpower, protects the environment, and promotes the sustainable development of the swiftlet population. This is one of the clearest examples of systematic and effective investment in science and technology, recognized by society and reputable organizations.

From 2015 to the present, the company has recognized and honored 1,820 initiatives. Each initiative is a story of dedication and a desire to work better and more efficiently. These initiatives and technical improvements are born from the hands and minds of the direct production workers. Typical examples include the "Centrifuge Machine" at the Bird's Nest Raw Material Processing Plant, which replaces manual methods, maximizing the recovery of bird's nests for processing, significantly reducing labor, and ensuring food safety and hygiene. Another example is the "Improved Packaging Process for 6-Can Boxes," which significantly saves labor costs and contributes to overall economic efficiency; and the "Research and Development of a Machine for Cleaning Mooncake Baking Trays," which reduces the need for manpower...
These tireless efforts have helped Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Company reap prestigious awards such as: the title of Hero of Labor in the Renovation Period (2015), the First Class Labor Medal, the National Quality Gold Award, and especially the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) Award in 2016.
