According to Ms. Hoang Nhu Le, Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Xuan Ai commune, the locality is a purely agricultural area, with most people living by farming. Based on promoting the role of farmers in socio-economic development, the Farmers' Association of the commune has implemented many forms of support, most notably preferential loans from the Farmers' Support Fund.

The fund is disbursed as loans to groups of households with similar production and business plans for a specific product or industry, helping members expand production, build effective economic models, increase income, and improve their living standards. The Farmers Support Fund has promoted the establishment of many cooperatives, professional associations, and cooperative groups, helping farmers link production along the value chain, apply technological advancements, and improve the efficiency and competitiveness of their products.

Some typical models include: the mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing model of members Nguyen Thi Hoan, Vu Van Huy, and Do Thi Lan, generating an income of 100-150 million VND/year; the cinnamon forest planting model of members Vu Trung Sau, Vu Ngoc Tam, Vu Van Chuong, and Dang Van Tri, generating an income of 150-200 million VND/year; and the integrated economic model of "processing cinnamon bark and raising pigs" of member Tran Van Cuong, bringing in an income of 250-300 million VND/year.

Thanks to the effectiveness of these models, the movement "Farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has spread strongly, attracting a large number of members to participate. The entire commune currently has 820 households excelling in production and business at various levels, making a positive contribution to local economic development.

During the period 2023-2025, the Farmers' Association of Xuan Ai commune mobilized and guided the establishment of 21 cooperative groups and 5 cooperatives, attracting 61 member households to participate, while also supporting the improvement of the operational efficiency of 12 existing cooperative groups and cooperatives. Many models have proven effective, linked to the application of technology and digital transformation in production, processing, and consumption of products, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural products and income for farmers.

In addition, the Association continues to innovate the activities of its branches and sub-branches; organizes technical exchange and training sessions, guides members on the effective use of loan capital, strengthens linkages, and gradually forms sustainable economic models.

Ms. Hoang Nhu Le, Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Xuan Ai commune, said: Currently, the total outstanding loan balance of the Farmers' Support Fund in the commune is 2.7 billion VND, implementing 6 projects for 40 households. In addition, the Association cooperates with the Social Policy Bank to implement entrusted loan programs, with outstanding loans managed by the Association reaching over 33 billion VND for 535 members; and cooperates with the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, with outstanding loans under the Association's management reaching 102 billion VND.

In the coming period, the Farmers' Association of Xuan Ai commune will continue to expand the Farmers' Support Fund, diversify support forms, promote the implementation of group household projects, strengthen linkages along the value chain, apply science and technology and digital transformation, contributing to building a modern and sustainable agriculture, improving the lives of members and developing the local economy and society.

It can be affirmed that the Farmers' Support Fund, along with other coordinated capital sources, has been playing a practical credit channel and becoming a solid foundation for farmers in Xuan Ai commune to develop their economy and achieve sustainable wealth.
