In the final days of the year, the construction atmosphere on roads 6 and 11 in Nam Da commune becomes more bustling. The sounds of bulldozers, the conversations between residents and construction workers, blend with the green of the orchards. All of this creates a vibrant picture of a rural area undergoing a strong transformation on its journey towards building an advanced new rural area.
A noteworthy aspect of the road expansion project lies not only in the speed of construction but also in the rare consensus among local residents. Many households proactively dismantled their auxiliary structures and donated a portion of their land to ensure the site was handed over promptly, helping the project proceed on schedule.
Among them, three households, namely those of Mr. Vo Van Tuan, Mr. Le Doc Lap, and Mr. Le Dinh Thuy, are exemplary. They voluntarily donated over 200 square meters of land along the road (6 meters wide), currently planted with perennial trees, to expand the main road No. 6 connecting to road D10.
For farmers, land is a valuable asset and their livelihood. However, for the benefit of the community and for the development of their homeland, these households have not hesitated to contribute to building a new, more modern transportation route.

"With clear roads, people can travel more conveniently, trade is easier, and life improves. People donating land to build roads is also contributing to their homeland," many residents shared this view when they accompanied the construction unit to remeasure the donated land.
The spirit of the State and the People working together has spread strongly, becoming an important driving force helping Nam Da accelerate in achieving the goal of completing the transportation criteria and other advanced new rural development criteria.
Besides donating land, the people are also actively encouraging each other to maintain environmental hygiene, beautify residential areas, and plant trees along the roads. These small but practical actions are contributing to creating a "green, clean, beautiful, and safe" appearance for Nam Da, befitting its position as the core area of the UNESCO Dak Nong Global Geopark.

According to the People's Committee of Nam Da commune, 100% of the commune's roads have now been asphalted or concreted. Lighting systems, signs, directional markers, speed bumps, etc., have been installed synchronously, especially in densely populated residential areas.
Regular maintenance and upkeep of transportation infrastructure ensures that roads are clear, clean, and well-maintained. These changes not only improve the infrastructure but also enhance safety for people using the roads.

Thanks to the collective efforts of the community, Nam Da has also achieved many important results in implementing the National Target Program for building new rural areas in the 2021-2025 period.
Following the merger of three former communes: Nam Đà, Đắk Sôr, and Buôn Choáh (all of which had already achieved New Rural Area standards), the new Nam Đà commune continued to strengthen its Steering Committee and Program Management Board, assigning clear tasks to each member to ensure smooth operation from the commune level down to the villages and hamlets.
The review of criteria for advanced new rural development has been implemented systematically. By November 2025, the commune has achieved 10 out of 19 criteria and 59 out of 75 indicators. The achieved criteria are concentrated in the areas of infrastructure, culture, health , social welfare, and national defense and security, reflecting the comprehensive development of the locality.

However, Nam Da still has 9 criteria that have not been met, related to planning, transportation, education , information and communication, labor and employment, production organization, public administration, and the environment.
In addition, the disbursement of funds for the New Rural Development Program in the commune has also shown great effort. In 2022, the disbursement rate reached nearly 97%; in 2023, it exceeded 94%. Despite procedural obstacles in 2024, the progress still reached over 72%. For 2025, the disbursement progress is still low, but the locality is making efforts to overcome difficulties to accelerate progress in the remaining months of the year.

Based on the achievements already made, Nam Da aims to complete at least one more advanced new rural development criterion in 2025. The locality is focusing on implementing the Ho Da ecological tourism zone plan and the commune's general plan for the period 2026-2030. Nam Da is also mobilizing the participation of businesses, cooperatives, and people in economic development, income improvement, and infrastructure development.

According to Tran Thai Chau, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Da commune, looking at the changes brought about by the new roads, the collective efforts of the people, and the determination of the government, it can be seen that Nam Da is gradually moving in the right direction in its journey to build an advanced new rural area.
These achievements today serve as a foundation for the locality to move towards a dynamic, modern, and sustainable future – a truly livable place.
