On December 14th, at the Da Lat Flower Garden (Da Lat ward, Lam Dong province), the largest bouquet in Vietnam, created from the most diverse range of flowers, was announced as a Vietnamese record.
The bouquet measures 12.5 meters in length, with a top diameter of 8 meters and a bottom diameter of 2 meters, and an estimated total weight of 10 tons. Over 30,000 fresh flower stems, selected from 108 different varieties originating from Da Lat - Lam Dong, are meticulously and harmoniously woven together to create a large-scale and unique work of art.

The project was carried out by more than 150 artisans, technicians, and staff of Dalat Hasfarm, working continuously for over 24 hours. The process also benefited from the advice and guidance of Vietnamese floral artist Nguyen Manh Hung and Ms. Tran Thi Thu Le – an experienced floral arrangement expert – contributing to the perfection of the work in both technical and aesthetic value.

According to the organizers, the number 108 holds special significance, symbolizing the harmony of the universe and life energy, much like the role of the sun in the growth of flowers. Based on this idea, the bouquet not only aims for a record in size but also tells the story of collaboration, creativity, and pride in Vietnamese fresh flowers.

Representatives from the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee stated that, with its mild and cool climate year-round, Lam Dong is an ideal land for flowers to thrive, creating vibrant landscapes on hillsides, parks, and streets. Da Lat – the Land of a Thousand Flowers, the City of the Flower Festival in Vietnam – has long been associated with flowers and the traditional flower cultivation industry. The design and display of the largest flower bouquet in Vietnam this time not only creates a new tourism product but also serves as an opportunity to promote and honor flowers and flower cultivation – the pride of the land and people of Da Lat, Lam Dong province.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, this event will contribute to enriching the local cultural and tourism landscape, affirming the brand of Da Lat - the Land of a Thousand Flowers - which always knows how to reinvent itself, creating unique and attractive impressions for domestic and international tourists.

Mr. Aad Gordijn, General Director of Dalat Hasfarm Co., Ltd., said that the record-breaking bouquet symbolizes the company's more than 31-year journey of continuous innovation and sustainable development.
“This is not just a bouquet of flowers, but a collective work of art, embodying the spirit of collaboration for breakthroughs. We believe that creativity and innovation are the keys for Vietnam's flower industry to reach further in the regional and global markets. Through this work, the company wishes to honor the beauty and diversity of Vietnamese flowers, while spreading a positive message about the value of labor, cooperation, and responsibility towards the environment,” Mr. Aad Gordijn shared.

Meanwhile, representatives from the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) assessed that using 108 different flower varieties to create such a large-scale project not only demonstrates creativity but also clearly affirms the research, breeding, and flower production capabilities of the implementing unit.
"With a professional work ethic and the cultural and social significance that the project brings, we officially announce the Decision to establish a Vietnam Record for this special bouquet," a representative of VietKings affirmed.

Following the record-setting ceremony, the bouquet will be displayed and open to the public and tourists until December 16, 2025. The event is expected to become a new highlight of Da Lat tourism, contributing to promoting the image of a friendly and creative locality, while affirming the position of Vietnam's flower industry on the regional and international map.
