According to reports, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 12 (Typhoon Fengshen), the coastal area of Tan Thanh neighborhood has been continuously eroded by large waves, with the erosion reaching 25-30 meters in depth and extending for more than 100 meters.
Many sections of the embankment have been damaged by waves, the soil has been severely eroded, and materials and brick walls have been washed into the sea, posing a direct risk to residential areas and tourist facilities further inland.
Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang inspected each affected area, listened to detailed reports from local leaders and specialized units on the current state of landslides, as well as the progress of implementing remedial and temporary reinforcement measures.
