Da Nang is among the top 10 exemplary localities in developing an innovative startup ecosystem.

DNO - On the evening of December 13th, within the framework of the opening ceremony of Techfest Vietnam 2025, Da Nang city was honored as one of the 10 outstanding localities in developing the innovation and startup ecosystem.

Techfest Vietnam 2025 is an opportunity to look back at the progress of Vietnam's innovative startup ecosystem, especially in the formation and development of strategic projects.

Attending and speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that businesses need to strengthen human resource training from secondary to postgraduate levels, while also enhancing cooperation between the State, schools, scientists, and investors to quickly bring research into practical application.

The Prime Minister encouraged innovative models, gradually developing specialized technology ecosystems, and affirmed the role of the younger generation in promoting the spirit of innovation.

The Prime Minister affirmed that innovation is not only the responsibility of businesses but also of every individual, community, and the entire society. When each individual and business continuously innovates, society and the nation will develop strongly and sustainably. In the context of rapid transformation and deep international integration, developing domestic technological capacity is the inevitable path to building an independent and self-reliant economy, linked to global integration.

On this occasion, Da Nang is one of 10 localities honored as exemplary in developing the innovative startup ecosystem.

This shows that, through the coordinating role of state management agencies, especially the Department of Science and Technology, the Center for Innovation and Startup Support, and the active participation of startup support organizations, incubators, creative spaces, and the business community, Da Nang is gradually forming a dynamic startup ecosystem capable of connecting domestic and international resources.

Being honored not only contributes to enhancing Da Nang's position and competitiveness on the national startup map, but also affirms the locality's role in achieving socio-economic development goals based on science, technology, and innovation.

This demonstrates the city's outstanding efforts in creating a favorable environment for startups, investing in infrastructure, and developing effective support services, making a positive contribution to the overall growth of the country.
