SAR 412 rescue vessel

The SAR 412 rescue vessel is part of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center, responsible for carrying out search and rescue missions at sea, especially in the East Sea region.

SAR ships are an acronym for "search and rescue." These ships have accompanied fishermen in the South China Sea for many years. Many of these rescue missions have been incredibly challenging, involving sea conditions with waves 3-4 meters high and winds of force 7-8.

SAR 412 is a specialized rescue vessel, fully equipped with features and means to serve search and rescue operations at sea.

The crew prepared to lower the lifeboat to approach the distressed person and bring them back to the main ship.

For communication purposes, the ship is equipped with a Furuno FM-8500 VHF radio telephone and an SRH Type 50 handheld VHF radio.

The crew members are steering the vessel towards the scene to carry out rescue operations.

With the anchor ropes removed, the ship is ready to leave the dock and set sail.

The ship is fully equipped with a first- aid kit and necessary first-aid equipment such as monitors to measure parameters like SPO2, respiratory rate, heart rate, pulse, and blood pressure.
