Beyond simply providing support and moral encouragement, officers and soldiers also directly participated in labor days by "rolling up their sleeves" to transport materials, level the ground, demolish old houses, and assist with construction work, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and genuine sharing. From coastal areas and remote regions to ethnic minority communities, the image of police officers, militia members, and youth union members assisting in building houses for the people has become a beautiful mark in the hearts of the people.

In May, the atmosphere in Tan Thuan commune was bustling with activity as construction work progressed at various sites for disadvantaged households. Under the intense early summer sun, police officers, militia members, and local security forces diligently transported materials, dismantled old houses, and leveled the ground to accelerate construction progress. Implementing the emulation movement within the People's Police force, since the beginning of the year, the Tan Thuan commune police have assisted residents in leveling and dismantling 12 houses, with approximately 120 officers and soldiers participating. Each task was carried out with a high sense of responsibility, considering helping the people as their own duty. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Be Sil, Deputy Head of the Tan Thuan Commune Police, said: “Supporting the construction of houses for disadvantaged households not only helps people reduce labor costs but also creates a bond between the police force and the people at the grassroots level.”
The Tan Thuan commune police, in coordination with the militia and local security forces, are assisting residents in leveling the ground and accelerating the construction of houses for disadvantaged households.
In Gia Rai ward, the movement to support the construction of housing for residents has also been actively implemented. The Gia Rai ward police force has assisted in the construction of 3 houses with 45 personnel participating, contributing over 120 man-days of labor, ensuring progress according to the plan assigned by the Provincial Police. In addition to contributing labor, the police force also proactively coordinates with local authorities to closely monitor the progress of each project, promptly assisting with any arising issues so that residents can have stable housing as soon as possible.
Mr. Nguyen Van Luong, residing in Hamlet 23, Gia Rai Ward, a disadvantaged household receiving housing support, emotionally stated: “My family is in difficult circumstances, so building a house is a huge undertaking. I am very grateful for the support and dedicated assistance from the police and local authorities. With a new house, my family can feel secure and stable in our lives, and strive to improve our livelihoods.”

Spreading the spirit of "Serving the People"
In Tri Phai commune, police officers and soldiers, in coordination with the commune's Military Command, the Youth Union, and other local forces, are actively supporting the construction of houses for residents in the area. From early morning, the forces were present to transport construction materials, mix mortar, assist with plastering, level the ground, and carry out various appropriate tasks to accelerate the construction progress. Among the households receiving support is the family of Ms. Lam Ngoc Diep, residing in Kinh 5B hamlet, a Khmer ethnic minority family facing difficult circumstances. The house was provided with a total cost of 80 million VND, helping her family have a stable place to live after many years of living in a dilapidated house.
Major Nguyen Kieu Diem, Deputy Head of Tri Phai Commune Police, said that the commune police force always considers supporting the people as a political task closely linked to grassroots public relations work.
"Despite the hot weather and heavy workload, the officers and soldiers are all striving to complete their tasks with the desire to help the households have stable housing as soon as possible. This also contributes to building the image of police officers who are close to the people, understand their needs, and are trusted and loved by the people," Major Nguyen Kieu Diem shared.

Hands stained with cement, uniforms drenched in sweat on construction sites have become a beautiful image, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Serving the People." From these practical actions, the "Three Best" emulation movement continues to expand, enhancing the image of the People's Police officer who is close to the people, respects the people, and wholeheartedly serves the people.
