In accordance with Government Decree No. 49/2020/ND-CP detailing the implementation of the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement regarding community reintegration and Prime Minister's Decision No. 22/2023/QD-TTg on credit for those who have completed their prison sentences, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province has issued numerous directives, integrating the task of community reintegration into socio-economic development programs. This work involves the participation of the entire political system, ensuring that management, education, and assistance activities for those who have completed their prison sentences are implemented promptly and effectively.

Colonel Bui Xuan Khoi, Deputy Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Police, informed: "Currently, the entire province has more than 4,400 people who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their localities. All of them have been assigned to manage, monitor, and support them according to their specific circumstances."

A key aspect of community reintegration efforts is the synchronized implementation of numerous practical solutions. These include intensified public awareness campaigns (over 1,600 broadcasts on mass media; nearly 2,000 news articles and reports published); and over 3,200 community outreach sessions, thereby fostering a more open-minded societal view towards reformed offenders.
