Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Minh Hien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Naval Squadron 42; Comrade Tran Minh Dang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune; leaders of specialized departments of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune and a large number of local people.

Leaders of Naval Squadron 42 and leaders of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune laid flowers and offered incense at the special national historical site of Ben Vam Lung - Ho Chi Minh Trail on the Sea.

According to the coordination regulations, the two units will focus on key areas such as: closely coordinating in firmly protecting national sovereignty ; maintaining security, order, and safety of the sea and islands, and promoting sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy ; disseminating laws and raising awareness of the rule of law among fishermen operating at sea, especially emphasizing regulations on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; and supporting localities in economic, cultural, and social development, poverty reduction, and new rural construction; effectively implementing social welfare and gratitude activities to improve the material and spiritual lives of the people.

Leaders of Naval Squadron 42 and leaders of Phan Ngoc Hien Commune signed a cooperation agreement between the two units.
