Earlier, at approximately 8:55 AM on the same day, the Rach Goc Border Guard Station received a report from residents about a fire that occurred in Kenh Mot hamlet, Phan Ngoc Hien commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, the unit quickly deployed a task force of 13 officers and soldiers along with mobile firefighting equipment to the scene, coordinating with the Police, Military , the 42nd Naval Squadron (Command of Coast Guard Region 4) and local people to organize firefighting, secure the scene and assist in mitigating the consequences.
