Rach Goc Border Guard Station assists local residents in fighting the fire.

On the afternoon of May 28th, Major Phan Van Kip, Political Officer of Rach Goc Border Guard Station (Ca Mau Border Guard Command), stated that the unit had promptly deployed 13 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces in extinguishing a fire that broke out in three houses this morning, preventing the fire from spreading.

Earlier, at approximately 8:55 AM on the same day, the Rach Goc Border Guard Station received a report from residents about a fire that occurred in Kenh Mot hamlet, Phan Ngoc Hien commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, the unit quickly deployed a task force of 13 officers and soldiers along with mobile firefighting equipment to the scene, coordinating with the Police, Military , the 42nd Naval Squadron (Command of Coast Guard Region 4) and local people to organize firefighting, secure the scene and assist in mitigating the consequences.

By approximately 10:05 AM, the fire was completely brought under control. There were no casualties, but property damage is estimated at nearly 100 million VND. According to initial information, the fire originated in Mr. Nguyen Van Gan's house, then spread to Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung's and Mr. Ho Van Cam's houses. The initial cause has been determined to be an electrical short circuit.

Officers and soldiers of the Rach Goc Border Guard Station coordinated with other forces to fight the fire.

The forces are assisting the people in recovering from the aftermath of the fire.

The Rach Goc Border Guard Station continues to coordinate with local authorities to support affected families in overcoming the consequences and stabilizing their lives as soon as possible.
