The most serious landslide occurred at Gia Bac Pass on National Highway 28 connecting Son Dien commune with Ham Thuan Bac commune to National Highway 1A. Present at the scene at 11:00 a.m. on October 28, Mr. Vu Duc Nhuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Dien Commune (Lam Dong) said that, up to this point, after many hours of paralysis, National Highway 28 through Gia Bac Pass has basically been opened to traffic. However, when vehicles passed, the functional forces on duty at the scene had to use people to push the vehicles to pass.
According to Mr. Nhuan, the landslide caused by heavy rain from the afternoon of October 27 to the early morning of October 28 caused serious landslides on Gia Bac Pass on National Highway 28.
