Phung Cong commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Xuan Quan, Cuu Cao and Phung Cong. In the process of building new rural areas, Phung Cong commune is considered a bright spot in implementing the criteria on organizing production to increase income and improve people's lives. The whole commune has 8 model new rural residential areas. The average income per capita of the commune in 2025 is estimated to reach 105 million VND.   Security and order are maintained. 92% of the commune's families are recognized as cultural families; 18/19 villages are recognized as cultural villages...

At the meeting, delegates participated and clarified a number of contents such as: Promoting the potential and advantages of the locality in building a new model rural area; building a model of agricultural production applying high technology in a sustainable and environmentally friendly direction; advantages and difficulties in implementing the new rural area construction program when implementing a 2-level local government; focusing on building and promoting OCOP products with local characteristics towards export.
