At the conference, the commune leaders and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Thuy commune provided assistance to 13 families who suffered losses exceeding 50 million VND (10 million VND per household), 46 families who suffered losses exceeding 20 million VND (4 million VND per household), and 14 families who suffered losses exceeding 15 million VND (2 million VND per household); the total amount of assistance was 338 million VND. This money was contributed by agencies, units, businesses, philanthropists, and all officials and people in the commune to help households overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
