Developing voluntary social insurance participants in Phu Duc commune

Phu Duc Commune, in coordination with Quynh Phu Social Insurance, has been implementing many propaganda and mobilization solutions to spread the humanity of voluntary social insurance policies, creating a breakthrough in developing participants, helping people have the opportunity to enjoy long-term social security.

Quynh Phu Social Insurance cooperated with collection staff to propagate social insurance and health insurance policies to people of Phu Duc commune.

With the motto of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every person", the staff specializing in developing social insurance participants at Quynh Phu base together with the team of collection staff and collaborators of organizations in the area have systematically and regularly promoted the propaganda of social insurance policies and laws. Up to now, Phu Duc commune has 1,974 people participating in voluntary social insurance. This result has a great contribution from the team of collection staff and grassroots collaborators - dynamic, enthusiastic people, close to the area, regardless of the weather, proactively meeting to share and answer questions to help people understand social insurance policies. in which voluntary social insurance is the pillar of social security.

Ms. Pham Thi Hien, a social insurance and health insurance collection employee of Phuc Thinh Investment and Service Development Joint Stock Company, said: In the past, people were not interested in voluntary social insurance because they did not fully understand the meaning of the policy and economic conditions were still difficult. But in recent years, people have seen the importance of having a pension when they retire, so they have participated more and more. Since the beginning of the year, she has mobilized more than 20 people in the commune to participate in voluntary social insurance.

Ms. Chu Thi Anh, Ly Xa village shared: Previously, I did not pay attention to voluntary social insurance. After listening to the consultation, I clearly understood the value of participating to receive a pension and a free health insurance card when I reach retirement age. Thanks to the enthusiasm of the collection staff, I have balanced my finances to participate with a contribution of 264,000 VND/month. Looking at people who have pensions when they retire, I hope to be like that and will continue to contribute until I am eligible for a pension.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuyen, Tu Moi village, is also excited to think about the future of having a pension. After more than 1 year of participation, she is paying 594,000 VND/month. With this rate, when the required time is reached, she will receive a pension. Ms. Thuyen express regret because if the previous economic conditions were better, she would have joined earlier to enjoy a higher salary.

Voluntary social insurance is a type of insurance for the benefit of participants, protected by the State and implemented by the Social Insurance Agency. To effectively develop participants, Phu Duc commune determined that this is not only the task of the collection staff and the network of collaborators, but also requires the drastic participation of the local Party Committee and government. The commune regularly directs and requires organizations to strengthen propaganda to expand the number of participants.

Mr. Mai Van Dan, Vice Chairman of Phu Duc Commune People's Committee, said: The commune directed organizations and unions to strengthen propaganda. After completing the Steering Committee for implementing social insurance and health insurance policies, the commune assigned specific tasks to each member, closely coordinated with Quynh Phu Social Insurance to propagate the superiority of voluntary social insurance, contributing to the good implementation of social security policies in the area.

Phu Duc Commune currently has 1,974 people participating in voluntary social insurance.

Currently, Phu Duc commune continues to review people of working age who have not participated in voluntary social insurance, organize small group conferences, "go to every alley, knock on every door" to mobilize.
