Within the framework of investment and trade promotion activities in Korea, on the afternoon of October 27, the Vinh Long province delegation led by Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, head of the delegation and members had a working session with the Chairman of the Daejeon City Council and the Daejeon City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

* Working with the Daejeon City Council, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi informed about the economic development situation of Vinh Long province in the first 9 months of 2025 and about FDI projects in the area.
Currently, Korea has 36 projects, ranking third among countries investing in the province. The province's export turnover to Korea reached 47.3 million USD in the first 9 months of 2025, an increase of more than 22% over the same period last year, demonstrating an increasingly strong trade relationship.
Based on the potential of the two localities, Vinh Long province wishes to expand cooperation with Daejeon city in key areas, such as: Science and technology; Cooperation in research and application of high technology in smart agriculture and agricultural processing; Education and human resource training; Digital transformation and Startups, innovation.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi believes that with the increasingly strong Vietnam-Korea relationship, cooperation between Vinh Long and Daejeon will increasingly develop substantially, creatively and effectively.
To realize cooperation opportunities, on this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi invited the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of Daejeon City Council to visit Vinh Long province in the coming time.
Mr. Cho Won Hee - Chairman of Daejeon City Council welcomed and thanked the delegation of Vinh Long province for coming to work with the city. Mr. Cho Won Hee hoped that through the visit and work of Vinh Long province, there would be new cooperation opportunities for businesses of the two localities; cooperation opportunities would be promoted, creating a foundation for sustainable development.

* Working with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Daejeon City, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi hopes to continue connecting the Korean business community with the Vietnamese business community, as well as Daejeon City businesses with Vinh Long businesses.
Through the meeting, Vinh Long province leaders hope to introduce potential enterprises of Daejeon city to study and invest in Vinh Long province in suitable fields; contributing to tightening the relationship between enterprises and the authorities of the two localities, creating conditions for development.
