Promoting digital transformation cooperation between Ca Mau and VNPT.

On November 19th, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, held a working meeting with Mr. Pham Huy Hoang, General Director of VNPT-IT Company.

• A bridge to promote trade and expand opportunities for investment cooperation.

Provincial People's Committee leaders held a working meeting with VNPT -IT Company.

In accordance with the cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and VNPT Group, the two sides have recently strengthened coordination and support for research and application of information technology and digital technology in building and developing digital government, digital economy , and digital society in the province.

Currently, the units are implementing several priority tasks such as: building the digital architecture framework for Ca Mau province; monitoring and handling malware; supporting businesses in digital transformation; deploying the next-generation IPv6 internet network; and piloting digital transformation in Bac Lieu ward and Song Doc commune.

Representatives from VNPT-IT reported on the progress of the cooperation agreement between the two parties.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, acknowledged VNPT's partnership over the past period, contributing to socio-economic growth and promoting the digital transformation process of the province. However, some cooperation contents have been implemented slowly.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, delivered a speech acknowledging VNPT's partnership.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units and VNPT to strengthen coordination, clearly define key tasks, and assign clear responsibilities; while maintaining a monthly meeting schedule in a hybrid format (in-person and online) to improve implementation efficiency.

On behalf of VNPT-IT Company, Mr. Pham Huy Hoang affirmed that they will continue to cooperate closely with the province in building smart agricultural models; managing land and the environment using digital data; and implementing the "digital farmer" model. The acceleration of digital transformation is expected to create a strong impetus, promoting economic growth, developing tourism, attracting investment, and improving the quality of life for the people.

The meeting demonstrated the determination of Ca Mau province and VNPT in building a comprehensive digital platform, aiming to bring about rapid and sustainable development for Ca Mau in the digital age.
