Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Quang Ninh will connect Vietnamese and Japanese tourism businesses through B2B partnerships in 2026.
The program is part of a Famtrip surveying tourism in Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Quang Ninh, taking place from May 25-29, with the participation of Japanese travel agencies, tourism businesses from the three localities, and related units.
The initiative aims to enhance destination promotion, expand the international tourist market, especially for Japanese tourists; and promote the development of tourism routes between Hanoi, Ninh Binh , and Quang Ninh.
At the program, Vietnamese and Japanese tourism businesses met directly to exchange information, introduce products, and seek cooperation opportunities. This was also an opportunity for localities to promote their unique tourism products, accommodation services, resorts, heritage and cultural sites, and inter-regional tourism routes that suit the needs of Japanese tourists.
A key highlight of the program is the organization of meetings, product presentations, and direct networking events between Vietnamese tourism businesses and Japanese travel agencies. This provides an opportunity for localities to showcase their unique tourism products, accommodation services, attractions, resort products, culture, heritage, and inter-regional tourism routes that suit the needs and preferences of Japanese tourists.
Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, stated that the locality has great potential for developing high-quality tourism products associated with heritage, culture, ecology, and resorts. Japan is identified as one of the key international tourist markets, with high spending power and stringent requirements for service quality. Ninh Binh hopes to strengthen cooperation with Japanese travel agencies in developing products, connecting tours, exchanging tourist sources, and improving the quality of service for international visitors.
Through this program, Ninh Binh's tourism industry hopes to expand cooperation with Japanese partners, promote two-way tourist exchanges, and boost destination promotion through international media channels and tour distribution systems. At the same time, it aims to create opportunities for local tourism businesses to further improve their products and enhance service quality in a professional, friendly manner that meets the needs of Japanese tourists.
The program also provides an opportunity for Ninh Binh to further affirm its role in the Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Quang Ninh tourism route, forming a connecting journey between Hanoi – the gateway to international tourists; Ninh Binh – a destination with unique heritage, ecology, and culture; and Quang Ninh – a center for island and coastal tourism and a world natural heritage site. This linkage contributes to creating a complete, highly competitive tourism product that meets the trends of experiential, relaxing, and cultural exploration tourism in the Japanese market.
The 2026 Vietnam-Japan B2B tourism business networking program is expected to contribute to promoting Ninh Binh's tourism image to the Japanese market, opening up opportunities to attract more high-quality international tourists, and promoting green and sustainable tourism development.
